Dr. Maxwell Salvatore is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Yong Chen in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics. Dr. Salvatore is interested in identifying principled methods for analyzing electronic health record-linked biobanks more accessible to researchers. His substantive work has explored COVID-19, digestive cancers, and, more recently, diabetes and obesity. He is interested in collaborating with new people on a wide range of EHR-linked biobank and large cohort study-based analyses. He received his PhD from the University of Michigan.
