Chang-Uk Jeong is a PhD student in Bioengineering in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics (DBEI). He joined the Kim Lab at the Center for AI-driven Translational Informatics (CATI) in July 2024, initially as a data associate before beginning his PhD. He is interested in translational bioinformatics, omics data integration, AI-driven approaches to drug discovery, and the application of category theory alongside machine learning methods to deepen the understanding of genetics and advance medical science.
